The public transportation in Copenhagen is very reliable, punctual, and it takes you every were. In Copenhagen the trains, Metro and busses (including waterbuses) can be accessed with the same ticket. All you need to know is how many zones you will pass on your journey. Note the Metro will take you from the airport to central Copenhagen in only 20 minutes.

The Six Main Airports in Denmark
1 Aalborg Airport (AAL) –
Located 7Km North West of Aalborg, in North Jutland. This gives good access to Bronderslev, Hjorring, Frederikshavn, Hirtshals and is the nearest airport to Skagen –
2 Aarhus (AAR) –
Located 40Km North East of Aarhus in East Jutland. This gives good access to Grenaa, Randers, Viborg, Silkeborg and Skanderborg.
3 Billund (BLL) –
Located 2Km North East of Billund in the centre of Jutland, near to Legoland. This gives good access to Grindsted, Skjern, Torring, Hedensted and Horsens.
4 Copenhagen (Kastrup) (CPH) –
Located 8Km South of the capital city Copenhagen. This Denmarks main international airport with excellent global connections. Use this airport for accessing all of the Sjæland and Fyn islands. Also good for the south of Sweden.
5 Esbjerg Airport (EBJ) –
Located 8 Km north east of Esbjerg in West Jutland. Has good access to Varde, Bramming and Ribe.
6. Sønderborg Airport (SGD) –
Located right down the south of Denmark near the border with Germany. Good access to Aabenraa and Grasten.
